   How would you assume we would travel along side the asteroid? We aren’t exactly prepared to use such space travel at this point. A ship large enough to handle a responsibility such as that would cost an enormous amount of money to build not to mention take many years to build. With Hubble we can spot things much easier but doubtful enough to give us enough warning for such a task. Nice if it were doable.

   “Through development of the gravitational systems & their magnetic field covers, 2 easy options are available:

That is to approach the asteroid – travel along side it, then increase the magnetic shielding in a direction of the asteroid & create a pulse release of magnetic shielding in small packages.
   The atomic structure of the asteroid will receive enough magnetic field

   since Jupiter has existed, most foreign asteroids and large bodies are deflected away from orbits of the inner planets by it’s gigantic gravity well. it’s usually about 300,000-400,000 years between big strikes according to the geographic record.

   fact is nobody can tell the future and it’s far more possible that Earth will not be hit, than that it will, during the time of humans on Earth. if a planet-wide disaster does happen, so be it. we go extinct. big whoop. enjoy your life while it lasts.

   probably that asteroid was suppose to end earth…

   but it missed… i guessed were not doomed… who knows, theres no theory thats real… humans can;t predict the end of earth..only god…

   But if we try and fire a missile at so much high speed then we will end up spinning the earth away with the pressure of the rocket i think

   idk if RebelliousLeader1995 will ever see this but to his/her statement of if a 5 mile wide asteriod hit earth wouldn’t it have taken out a big chunk…..with the big asteriod hit 65 million years ago or what ever…that how we got our moon wich used to be part of earth

   instead of trying to blow one up with rockets why not design rockets that will land on it and attach them selves to it by drilling holes into it, then using back up rockets like most shuttles have use that to gently push it away, no shattered pieces coming to earth or one large one slamming us. “M”

    sending a missile with a H-Bomb in to the meteor wont change the direction since there isnt any air in space so the only thing that will do is make a hole because of the heat and some particles finding the asteroid

    so according to your theory if a one mile meteor hits the earth and it can destroy a continent then the 5 mile wide meteor from 65million yrs ago should have taken a good chunk of the earth out

    The book of Revelation is NOT literal… it’s all symbolic (except for the 144,000). God would never allow the earth be hit by an asteroid endangering his creation. Let alone a full scale nuclear war.
