Only those who have never laid eyes on the U.S. Constitution can say this is a democracy. READ IT! This is a REPUBLIC and they’re doing everything in their power to make it a democracy. A democracy is We the Sheepal, OUR Republic is WE THE PEOPLE…”WE” rule government and NOT the other way around and the sooner people get that through their heads, the quicker we can win this thing. It’s not about forming new companies….it’s about taking back the country that belongs to us.

@rfrankh53 Capitalism isn’tt failing. In fact, it’s the only thing that works. Do you have a job? Do you grow your food or buy it? If you grow it, where do you get the seeds & tools you use? Do you sew your clothes? If you do, where do you get the fabric, thread, & electricity? Who built your home? You? Who manufactured & ran the pipes for your fresh water? You?!? Profit and ambition are not a dirty words. Maybe I’ll just quit my job & get tips from you on how to live in a new no-money world.

@10skates you assume too much. Nobody said everyone quit their jobs. Captalism isn’t failing??? Wow… then I guess everything is honky dorry… the oceans will be fine, when all the trees in the rain forest are gone…let me put this simply…irresponsible capitalism is destroying the planet, however, after we are extinct, the planet will heal herself. I think we can do better. If not, the coach roach will go one. They can debate the successes of capitalism.

@Indigozek Define “non-sustainable system” please. Capitalism? Have you ever taken a course on economics or utilized any reference materials on socio-economic systems that you could cite as the basis for your opinions? By “benefit everyone” do you mean that you want me to work harder at MY job so I can pay for “our resources?” Idea: You dig a well, I’ll grow a garden, and we’ll trade products. OH WAIT! That’s what we already DO! You wanting my product for free is what’s not sustainable.

So many people have no idea what the world is really like. They think they live in a Brady bunch world. 2+2=5 to most of them. Making a Cadillac that seats six or a new Nazi microwave that seats six is all the same to them. It’s just a job, Daddy Fatherland told me to do it and if I don’t want something to cry about I’ll keep my mouth shut, my nose to the grindstone, my eyes on my money and follow orders, next!.

@10skates Non sustainable systems… The debt based monetary system.. Our energy system which is based on fossil fuels. Our food production system (beef). The list goes on. All of these can be changed into FULLY sustainable systems that do not harm the planet, with equal or greater benefits to humanity. I’m not going to explain how. The solutions are obvious, do your research. Even free energy technology exists but it is suppressed.
